How did Miracle get started?

The concept was born in 2014 when upon the advice of his mother, owner Greg Boehm decided to halt construction of what was to be his new bar, called Mace, located in New York’s East Village, and transformed the unfinished space into a pop-up bar serving holiday-themed drinks among over-the-top Christmas decorations. As crowds swarmed the NYC location, Boehm’s friends throughout the bar industry asked how they could recreate the holiday magic on their own turf and expansion became inevitable. The following year, Miracle expanded to 4 locations and in 2016, it went worldwide with pop-ups in Greece, Montreal and Paris. Currently, Boehm and manager Joann Spiegel are pleased to expand the concept to all corners of the US, plus pop-ups in Canada, Europe, Asia, and Central America. This year there are over 100 locations worldwide, with Austin’s own Miracle on 5th Street being the largest and most popular!

Miracle on 5th Street is Austin’s very own Miracle cocktail pop-up. The 2024 holiday season will be our eighth year hosting the pop-up, and we’re proud to be one of the largest and most popular Miracle locations in the world! We have many new treats in store for you this year, so don’t miss all that’s new for our 2024 season. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ARE CHILDREN/GUESTS UNDER-21 ALLOWED AT MIRACLE?

Yes! Christmas is about connecting with family of all ages. Thus, we do allow for guests under-21 at Miracle under the following conditions:

1) Your party must arrive before 7pm. At 7pm, entry into Miracle becomes 21+.

2) The under-21 guest must be accompanied by their parent, legal guardian, or spouse (who is over 21).

3) Any under-21 guests between the ages of 16-20 must prove their relationship to their parent, legal guardian, or spouse with a photo ID or proper documentation (such as proof of wardship or a marriage certificate).

These stipulations are in accordance with TABC guidelines to keep guests safe, and so that everyone inside enjoys their time with us.
